I’m 44 and I’ve been so scared lately because I keep forgetting what I’m doing. I will be right in the middle of cleaning or doing a project and I will go to get something and on my way to get what I was going to get I forget and sometimes forget what I’m doing all together and then move on to something else. By the end of the day I have a mine field of projects and unfinished chores all around my house. My hubby laughs at me but lately I have wondered if this could be early signs.

I am forgetting things and I am 43 these days I take lions mane it's getting worse I can't even concentrate sometimes my head is paining so I take lions mane atleast I am getting beter

but whats considered concerning in terms or memory loss. Like i can't remember things because the nature of my work demands me to focus on literally a 100 things at a time and things that are eventful or import just disappear

my grandma(dad's side) forgot she cut the umbilical cord for my middle child. forgot my mother past away roughly 5yrs after she was gone then she started thinking i was my mother

My dad forgets things, but not bad, I'd say. If I say I'm coming over this weekend, like Saturday, he'll call later in the week to ask what day, which means he remembered, just not the day. However, he's having a rough time finding the words to express what he intend to say. the sentences are very generic, and I have to figure out what he wants to say from context. he's 90 yo.

Dementia is not automatically Alzheimers, there are 6 types of Dementia, when Dementia is related to B Amyloid and Tau proteins it is called Alzheimers.

My mom is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She has also had some strokes. She has a blood clotting disorder and they think clots in her brain are causing some of the symptoms. The hardest part for her is that she doesn’t understand where she is and she is always wanting to “go home”. She always thinks she is somewhere else. She continually packs paper bags with things for when they “go home”. Any thoughts or advice?

The first question confuses me. My dad absolutely cannot remember when something happened like a holiday. He might remember the next day, but that’s about it. By day 3 that memory is gone. He has really bad short term memory and now iffy on his long term.
