I have developing cataracts but it’s making my vision very blurry. I’m hoping they are willing to do the surgery. I have an appointment end of September.

I respect that you take your time to read these comments and answer them. That gives you a lot of credibility as a caregiver.

Just had mine done in May. I paid extra for the multifocal lens. So glad I did. Have worn glasses since I was a child, now I have 20/20 both eyes

I had cataract surgery and requested the Standard lenses covered by medicare. Sadly, I now see halos around the night light or alarm clock display when it's very dark in the room at night. No halo around stars or the moon.

I just had mine done on 30 June and then 14 July and had zero problems. It’s so weird that after 63 years I can see clearly.

I wanted perfect distance vision. I don't think anything else is more important. I can wear readers. As annoying as that is.

I had mine and am so unhappy with it. What you are saying about talking to the doctor wasnt even offered. Plus you are not saying that each option cost alot more money. If you never want to wear glasses again that would cost an addition 8,000 above what the actual surgery so to be clear cataract surgery is a scam. As someone who has been nearsighted my whole life now can only see far away and reading glasses don't help with computer work. I would not recommend having it done before you get a second opinion and get pricing from multiple clinics.

I have trifocal glasses and I still can’t see clear. I don’t know about my candidate for the surgery.

The best thing I ever had done. 👍 I had worn glasses for years. Had my surgery and didn't need reading glasses for two years. If you have trouble afterwards, then I'd say you're in that very small percentage of failures.
