Tony chose to sign the accords because he took the civilians who are caught into the crossfire of the avengers battles into account. Captain was being selfish, he cared more about freedom than lives. Tony will be the only right option

The Bucky thing was messed up but it’s not the ONLY reason Steve did what he did. If the avengers had to listen to the government, which historically irl and in movies are fucking evil, it would be disastrous and against what they stand for and what Cap stands for. He represents himself, the people and what America SHOULD be. Tony was guilty and that’s his problem. No superhero should ever have to report to a governmental body. Steve was right

Tony was fighting for himself, his own guilty about everything. Cap was fighting for freedom, avengers are supposed to be free to act in any moment to save people from big threats. Tony has a valid crashout about bucky, and Cap was right too for defend him ( he was his best friend and he knew he was brainwashed). Team cap here because he was right, but I understand Tony.

you all obviously don't understand the movie what so ever, team Cap didn't want to be controlled by the government because it would stop the avengers from protecting everyone and they can even be used as a weapon on the enemies of the US, Cap knows first hand that heroes should not be controlled due to the events of Winter Soldier Cap knew that being controlled by the government would end in disaster. Team iron man half of them didn't even agree with the accords such as Peter not actually knowing what the accords are about he was just fighting Cap cause he believed cap was a criminal, black panther was only there to kill Bucky because he thought Bucky killed his father and Nat switched sides, Iron Man was fighting for the accords cause he felt guilty for age of Ultron and he proceeds to break those accords in the same movie by going after cap without getting permission from the government. Iron Man felt guilty so he was blinded by that guilt and couldn't see logic and we know he was blinded by guilt cause we know he never wanted to be controlled by the government which is mainly shown in iron 2 and 3
