@something.scarlett: high school even freshman me would be terrified of posting these photos… ...but I’m learning not to attach my identity or self-worth to my appearance. And yes, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be pretty—I love dolling up and it gives me a huge confidence boost. But I don’t want how I feel about my looks determine whether I have a good day or not. Is it too idealistic? Maybe...?
