I completely feel that me and my little brother’s birthday are a week apart it because his birthday is first he gets all the excitement all of the attention but then when my birthday comes, I get the leftover for example this year when they turn 18 my brother got a kick. He got happy birthday song. Everyone immediately said happy birthday to him. We were there the whole day because my dad wanted to be from my birthday. I went out hang out with my friends at the mall that Krispy Kreme donuts my family was the last people bring it to me and then they all left not even 10 minutes later you know happy birthday song, not even an acknowledgment his friends over the years have not been much better. I will fight tented with people every year only one person to show up that’s why I don’t do parties anymore. It’s only gonna be one person I give up on that years ago. And most of my relative don’t even remember my birthday so every year it’s get left over cake get barely anything maybe one gift that’s my day

if i were her, id have recorded that call and posted it, not to shame grandma or anything, but to shame everyone else. because my grandma with dementia, who doesnt even remember me sometimes, wished me a happy birthday. even remembered how old i was turning.
