Here’s a little update on my surgery journey—what’s already been done and what’s still to come! My original plan did end up shifting a bit. If I were starting from scratch, I would’ve combined my thigh lipedema liposuction with my breast lift. But at the time, with guidance from my surgeons, I made the best decisions I could with the information I had. Part of the reason things changed is that I later decided I did want to remove the loose skin on my calves eventually, which wasn’t part of my initial plan. I’m genuinely so happy with the procedures I’ve had so far and excited for what’s still ahead! 🤗 The only thing I would’ve changed is the order I did them in and combining some procedures. I can’t believe I’m about to have my fourth surgery in the last six months. Honestly, it’s all gone so much better than I expected. (Maybe that’s easier to say now that I’m a little more removed from the toughest parts. 😉) But really—emotionally, mentally, and physically—I think I’ve handled it all better than I thought I would. My hope was to get everything done within one year but that won’t be happening and that’s okay. Now that I’m splitting up my leg skin removal and lipedema liposuction by at least six months, I truly believe that spacing them out is the best choice for my healing and long-term results. I’ll keep sharing the process here to offer insight, info, and hopefully a little inspiration along the way. Thanks so much for following this part of my life! 🥰 *all surgeries come with risks and everyone has to decide what the best option for them is!
