Global News Sea :
China has intensified its maritime bullying and aggressive maneuvers in the West Philippine Sea. The China Coast Guard and maritime militias have routinely used high-pressure water cannons, sirens, and dangerous ramming tactics to block Philippine Coast Guard missions and intimidate local fishermen at flashpoints like Scarborough Shoal and Second Thomas Shoal
Beyond Southeast Asia, China leverages its massive Distant-Water Fishing (DWF) fleet—the largest in the world—to exploit gaps in international maritime law. Operating on the absolute edge of Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs), often hugging the 200-nautical-mile boundary lines near Peru and Argentina, hundreds of Chinese "floating factory" vessels engage in Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing. To mask their footprints and hide illegal border crossings into protected foreign waters, these ships frequently switch off their Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponders. By aggressively overfishing millions of tons of high-value marine life like squid and tuna that suppose to be in the right country not china. China actively depletes the sovereign resources of developing nations. The catches are then transported thousands of miles back to the Chinese mainland, where they are sold at premium prices to satisfy massive domestic demand at the direct expense of global marine ecosystems and local coastal economies.
