2 completely different kinds of hardship and despair, AoT is foggy and unclear because thats exactly how they experience it, to some degree it doesnt make sense, they dont understand the cage of freedom and the decisions Eren believed necessary. While Vegeta breaks down because thats what that moment was, years of despair culminating in the collapse of a single man representing the pride of an entire species. The fact you cant or refuse to perceive how these are 2 completely separate yet equally perfect depictions of sorrow IS whats wrong with most watchers.
