I woke up at 5a from Grassmarket to the castle for sunrise, down the royal mile to Holyrood thru New Colton Burial grounds to Princess st gardens back to Grassmarket. 2 hours of not seeing a soul I had Edinburgh all to my own. this lives rent free in my head it’s the best thing I’ve ever done on a holiday. Tip….bring water.

Am a Lego Grandma :
By far the best time to enjoy this beautiful city. ❤️We were there on Tuesday and it was heaving. The National museum however was relatively quiet and was fantastic.
