🚨 Scent of the Day... and this one COMPLETELY let me down. 🚨 Well... here we are again. Another day, another fragrance review. I'm still feeling under the weather, so I wanted something that I thought would be easy to wear. I reached for Game of Spades All In, a fragrance I've owned for about six months. Here's the crazy part... When I first bought this bottle, I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was a solid pickup for the price and understood why people were comparing it to LV City of Stars. But today? It was like I sprayed on an entirely different fragrance. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. This smelled absolutely awful on my skin. The opening reminded me of someone trying to cover up sweaty armpits with a cheap citrus body spray. Instead of smelling fresh and vibrant, it came across sour, funky, and honestly nauseating. I kept waiting for it to settle into something pleasant, but it never happened. Every time I caught a whiff throughout the day, it made me regret wearing it. Now, could this be because I'm sick and my sense of smell is off? That's definitely possible. Illness can completely change how fragrances smell. But all I can review is what I experienced today, and today's experience was rough. If this is anywhere close to what Louis Vuitton City of Stars smells like, then I honestly feel like I dodged a massive bullet by not spending around $600 on the original. As a matter of fact, after today's wear, I'm even questioning the $70 I spent on this clone. Fragrances are subjective, and what smells terrible to me might smell amazing to someone else. That's the beauty of this hobby. But for me, this was one of the biggest disappointments I've had in a long time. As of today, I can't recommend Game of Spades All In based on my personal experience. Maybe my opinion changes after another wear when I'm feeling better, but right now this bottle has completely fallen from grace. Have you tried Game of Spades All In?
