As someone studying ASL, this is genuinely so unsettling, you did so well! ASL is a visual language, and facial expressions are a big part of communication, so the blank, unmoving facial expression makes this feel odd in a way that I couldn’t quite place for a bit. I say this as a positive thing, even if it wasn’t on purpose, I love it!
