I saw the video and they were sooo disrespectful. they even flipped the woman off and she really wasnt being rude. as a farang here, I am a guest always, and I look to thai people as the example of how to act and I try to do my best to not disturb others. the money thing is ridiculous. we are not here spending money for charity, we get immense value from spending money here that we cannot get anywhere else. We should be thankful, not entitled.

I have travelled once in Thailand back in 2025 of May, I would say they are nice and respectful. My two cents here is when you are in other country you should respect their culture and people as well and its not all about the money though. They welcome you without judgement so do the same 🥰

I have had travelled many times to Thailand, Thai people are really decent and respectful to others. I have had never seen Thai people talk loudly in BTS/MRT. Thai people are great people 👌

Im glad that someone said something, many tourist believe that Thai people don’t care about tourists actions and think what they do don’t bother Thai people. I have to remind people that just because Thai people don’t say anything doesn’t mean you’re not bothering anyone. Always be mindful about how your actions affect other people feelings around you. Especially when you’re visiting another country.
