It’s actually quicker to set the shit down and take a photo handing it directly to a person adds like 2-3 extra steps in the delivery process for the driver btw

Obviously we know you have to take a picture, but his lack of social skills is what’s terrible. If the homeowner is standing right there, you don’t just walk by them without communicating. “Hi there! Let me just take a quick photo to show it’s delivered and it’s all yours!” is all that was needed.
