I consider this as a great episode; but that should have been upgraded to a movie; there are missing parts: who send the space beacon into the anomaly in first place; how they survive the second time they travel in time without completed antimatter; why the insect race of the 5 planet (now asteroid belt) had iridium in a space shuttle on earth. Couldn’t save and bring a sole Martian to our time? Lot of questions to respond to.

I thought it was a great episode. I really enjoyed it... What if the aliens we met in the voyager episode distant origin were the dinosaurs who repaired the crashed space ship and left earth when the asteroid hit!! Also wonder what their other 10 words for lonely after widower are!!

well in star trek voyager, in the delta quadrant, the uss voyager encountered a species of reptilians who were descendants of dinosaurs, who fled the earth when it was hit by a meteorite. someone doesn't look at the franchise when they write scripts
