This actually can be caused by them. It’s a reflex your brain will get! Instead of them hurting you, you’ll lash out first to try to protect yourself. This happens when family yells/gets mad/ or even abuses you enough for no apparent reason so you just do it first. (Or could be a deeper problem) I really hope you get the help you may need 💜
