@sasha.anticipate: 6 signs your chronic stress is starting to kill you — and most of us joke about them ——— Self-awareness is one of the most powerful tools you have to recover from chronic stress and burnout. That’s why I build Anticipate, the app that: • tracks your patterns • spots signs of burnout • makes you rest before your body forces you to Try it out on the App Store! Search "Anticipate" ——— 1. “I haven’t slept properly in years.” You struggle to fall asleep, wake up throughout the night or open your eyes already exhausted. You laugh about surviving on caffeine, but your body is never getting enough time to recover. 2. “My stomach hates me.” Nausea, indigestion, bloating, no appetite or sudden bathroom problems have become part of your routine. You call it a “stress stomach” and carry on. 3. “My head hurts every day.” Headaches, migraines, jaw tension and aching shoulders feel so normal that you barely notice them anymore. Painkillers are treating the symptom, not what keeps triggering it. 4. “My brain has stopped working.” You forget words, lose your train of thought, reread the same sentence and make mistakes you never used to make. You joke that your brain has “left the chat.” 5. “Everyone is annoying me.” Small noises, messages and minor problems make you irrationally angry. You think you’ve become impatient, but you may simply have no nervous-system capacity left. 6. “I’m always getting ill.” You keep catching colds, feeling feverish or taking longer to recover. Your body is spending so much energy keeping you functioning that there’s very little left for anything else. We joke about these symptoms because they’re common. But common does not mean harmless. Chronic stress rarely looks dramatic at first. It looks like headaches, bad sleep, stomach problems and “just being tired” — until your body can’t keep compensating. You don’t need to become stronger. You need to stop treating warning signs like personality traits. Use Anticipate (iOS) to track your patterns and make yourself rest. Find it on the App Store. Save this before you dismiss them again. 🤍 #burnout #mentalhealthmatters #MentalHealth #burnoutprevention #takecareofyou

yup al of it besides the getting ill easily I don't struggle with that much but my body is psychically reacting to it with constant back and knee pain and when I'm in the shower I just break down most of the time
I'm autistic either, I really can't do this anymore (tried giving up to much because of it)even though I'm on sertraline now💔

Signs of chronic stress...panic attacks, sore chest and waking up in the middle of the night crying.Always wanting to sleep wishing to just evaporate and walking away from everyone. You constantly rewind the scenarios in your head...thinking about where, when, who, and why it caused your anxiety. I have been fighting this for a year and a half and I needed professional mental health support just to survive. To anyone else going through this stage of life right now I hope you can get through your hard days, too. 🙏🌹 Mental health is so important.

No one cares or believes in my chronic mental status. it's a "get over it" or "you're being dramatic" talk

Stay safe everyone. Nobody should get chronic stress from workplaces but sadly this is the case for far too many people and why Empthrive, our small but mighty people-company exists 💛

I had chronic stress for 2.5 years and when I finally came out the other side and healed i realised how I badly damaged my self in many ways the worst side effect has to be the cognitive decline iv experienced after it, please look after yourselves people!

Joke about it… but it won’t stop. I’m a full time parent of 2 young autistic children. I have no back up. It’s me. That’s it. Iv got no choice but to keep going. 🤷🏻♀️it’s literally the only answer.
