Hey so some background - the park was founded by a little person. The employees have dorms tailored to dwarfism, are given free English lessons to interact with tourists so they're not just props, and both Chen the employer and many interviewed employees expressed pride at working for a living and joy in interacting with new people every day as well as a sense of community living with so many other little people. Is this arguably less than dignified? Sure, but so are most jobs.

It’s also very common for blind people to be massage therapists in China. They really do try to give disabled people a way to work and be a part of the society as fully as possible. 🥰🥰
