Well written. Ive used my pip to pay for hydrotherapy continuation as NHS only pay for 6 sessoons. Im still in the same pool with the same physio. I do work, but only because pip helps me pay for things like this

The Scottish Government runs administers disability benefits here. They have a policy of not retesting claimants with long term disability 🥰

I have a degenerative condition i applied for pip 2 years ago and got the lower amount of daily living the whole process took about 8 weeks this year I had to be reassessed because I was only awarded pip for 2 years I now get the same daily living allowance and I can hardly do anything for myself or I have to be supervised but I do get the full motability allowance and my pip has been awarded as ongoing which im led to belive is until further notice. from receiving the letter to regarding my assessment to being awarded my new pip took 6 weeks. I had no arguments I was assessed and the decision was made.

What annoys me most is the fact that when the pip asks you about your disability and when it something like autism that doesn’t change at all and yet the pip form always says has your disability changed or something like that it irritates me especially when it comes to renew it

3 years it took me to fight pip when I had MRI scans and it said in my note degenerative Literally was not needed to go to court and waste time I provided all medical information needed they chose to disbelieve trained doctors and medical scans that's just ridiculous

I got a letter yesterday to say my pip award has been extended until 2032, I actually broke down and cried because of the stress relief it gave me! I have MS, Lupus and Fibromyalgia and I will never get better only worse as I age xxx
