@aislingunfiltered: When your dream starts becoming a reality, nobody tells you how scary it can actually feel. The idea was the exciting part. Meeting factories, testing products, changing plans, coming up with one idea that led to another, and learning that things I thought were certain weren’t always as certain as I believed. Then came the rules, regulations, packaging, labels, products and everything in between. There were moments I doubted myself, moments my confidence disappeared and moments I questioned everything. Is it good enough? Will people love it? Should I have chosen one of my other ideas? Am I really ready to put this out into the world? But then I remind myself why I started. I had a dream, I trusted my instincts and I stayed standing behind what I believed in, even when fear tried to take over. Now the chapter of creating is slowly closing and the chapter of launching is beginning. I’m nervous, I’m emotional and I’m absolutely terrified, but I’m also so proud of myself. Sometimes you just have to shake off the fear, trust yourself and keep going.
