ive just done my daughters pip assessment this morning (24th July) was horrendous only on phone 34 minutes im not hopeful she has just had her adhd official diagnosis yesterday 23rd July & I thought the assessor dismissed it & focused on anxiety & depression even when I told her that the GP referred her because he believed it wasnt anxiety & depression were the main issues were adhd & autism

It's not easy to get PIP?? 🤔🤔 This is my postcode.....That's 1 in 4 working age adults get PIP ....ONE QUARTER!! Statistically that's more than 1 in every 2 households has a PIP claimant. But you claim it's not easy to get PIP??? Really??

I hate that whenever the “welfare/benefits system” is discussed it’s automatically assumed that means us disabled people. Nobody talks about the high rates of fraud within child tax credits, housing benefit and those that genuinely choose to live on “the dole” purely cz they don’t want to work. These issues are never addressed, it seems to be automatically the disabled people that is the reason the welfare budget is so huge, it’s not just us!!

the nhs really needs overhauling for this to happen , the won't give me surgery that is available elsewhere in the world that would ironically enable me to work and I have to use my pip to pay for private meds that I have tried to jump.through hoops to get via the nhs , the nhs is a barrier to a lot of us

@Mary Jane 🇬🇧:I have pip. both standard rate it's £428 every 4 weeks. hardly living the life of Riley. pip isn't even that much. claiming pip also doesn't mean you don't or cannot work. not everyone on pip is also claims LCWRA. LWCRA is now £217. so again hardly rolling in it.
