Note on the “130K jobs” these are NOT long term. These are usually construction works ‘pag tinatayo ang infra ng Pax Silica but after it, wala na (and it’s 6 months per person lang ‘pag nageestimate ang gobyerno, sobrang inflated n’yang figure!!). Look at the giant data centers overseas, malaki din space nila but there’s barely a thousand workers at its core. Also, guaranteed ang mga high-ranking officials at technical staff nito will be sourced from other countries, not the Philippines. ‘Yung mga Pilipino, lalagay nila s’yempre sa blue collar, not managerial. Second-class citizen na naman tayo sa sariling bansa

i honestly would have been neutral on pax silica but knowing it's under trump (which netted him almost $2 billion on his 2nd term alone because of having his family's hands on alot of deals, among other shady activities), i wish the ph govt thought of this harder

ndi malinaw ung gameplan for the electricity and water supply. sa nov pa yan malalaman.. pero what if huli na at ndi naman sbihin? if you will base the problems of the existing AI hubs, it will be a big problem of us too. the AI hubs needs cooling system, why put it in a tropical country? w/o technology for proper cooling, uubusin lng nyan ang tubig nten bc that’s the cheapest cooling source for them. as for the minerals, i doubt pilipinas ang kikita jan base sa interview ng bcda. kikita lang un mayayaman tlga na nagcontrol ng agreement 😅

finally this video said a lot...you know why who scared with this pax silica spreading negative info the red one itself because it will challenge not to rely on them anymore..look at hinatuan island mining a lot of raw material like nickel then exported instead of refining so sell it at a higher price...

The problem is not the biased thinking of both agree and disagree with what's probably instored based on their own povs. It's the lack of trust by the filipinos on the current Government, all their seated officials and the US itself. Initial 2 years rent free as part of the draft agreement with Pax Silica - why? Is it acceptable or is there some " leverage " the US have with our current officials? Did all the member Countries have the same agreement? Same skilled workers? Same natural resources and will all Countries have the same salaries for their workers? These are just some of the questions and many more to be exact yet mainstream media and high Government officials seems to be too quiet and would rather not talk about it.
