Deforestation, insane toxic chemical usage, soil erosion, animal waste, greenhouses gas emissions, explosive diarrhea… it doesn’t have to be this way. Regenerative farming exists. It is the future. 🌿✨

Also, they only plant male trees to cause MORE pollen... and male trees dont give fruit.

its not the small farmers fault...its the big agricultural companies ruining everything. I garden in my backyard ORGANICALLY no pesticides. it is not ruining the environment. make my own hot compost as well so nothing is wasted

preach. I did a massive garden for the first time ever. raised beds, trellis, the whole bit. so far, I have not used one pesticide. even when we got infested with aphids. I removed a ton and let the praying mantis, spiders and lady bugs handle the rest

As an advanced Science teacher, it actually saddens me that our curriculum in STE is being focused on Computer Engineering, Robotics, and ICT.We had a Rural Agricultural Curriculum before but it was scrapped due to “what the country needs” BS.

I brought this up at an ag conference on a panel discussion several years ago and still have been invited back 🙃. Some of the comments on this post sound real similar to the ones I got that day. ✊🏾

I volunteer at a community garden, that our council want to get rid of. we won and have it guaranteed for a few more years. but it feeds the community and provides so much education and a new home for local wildlife. no chemicals (aside from when the council comes by and spray the plants outside 😡). me and my daughter have started growing some veg in our own garden a tiny patch but very inspired from your videos. we have one corn hopefully coming in.
