It does sound perfect, growing your own non-toxic food, getting sunlight, no outer world noise, no stress factors etc. but imagine every human ever lived like that, how would humanity achieve anything? Im not saying for a dead end 9-5 will make society better. But living unemployed and doing nothing is not contributing anything to humanity. Only for one's self. Isn't that a bit selfish?

A random 9 to 5 in an office with exercise on the side is much better for your health than “construction”. Construction can mean many things but most of the trades will destroy your body much more than 8 hours of sitting ever will.

I work as a waiter in Uzbekistan. I started working here when I was 15. I’ve been working 12-hour night shifts, 6 days a week, and I’m still doing the same now at 17. I’ve noticed that I’ve started having problems with my speech and concentration. Sometimes I forget simple words, lose my train of thought, and it feels like I’m living on autopilot or like I’m watching my life through a movie instead of actually living it.
