a few things; 1 it's illegal to tow a car with someone inside it, 2 they're not supposed to hook up to a car unless it is parked in neutral, and 3 the tow truck has no company logo and also has no license plates 100% an illegal towing scam

Tow truck in the wrong no matter what. car could be still you cant hook and take a car with someone in it that kidnapping at a bare minimum usually with endangerment, reckless driving, and all kinds of other charges attached

He says there must’ve been some lawful reason, but there have been instances of tow truck companies just towing a car away so the owner can come pay a higher fee than normal to get their car back
