hiii! im also deaf but mildly and im getting a hearing aid next month. Ive been learning BSL for just under a year, and Ive been learning BSL since August. Im pretty sure this is SSE sign supported english!!! 🤟

your doing so well! one tip i have for you if you didn’t know already is that you don’t have to sign the filler words. For example you don’t need to sign the to in “ i want to get better “ only mouth it the way you where xx

hii well done for learning! just be careful when doing your bsl. i’m guessing you’re right handed as that is the hand you used the most but your alphabet is signed with both hands. it can get really confusing for deaf users who only use bsl as a form of communication

I'm also learning BSL, my daughter is deaf. Is but the same as what. I thought it was almost like a finger point rather then shaking your finger like the sign for 'what' x

When signing my name is, you sign my name what. Then after sign your name, hope this helps remember BSL has different grammar and vocabulary.

Try not to swap hands when signing Bsl. Imagine dominant hand is pen and non dominant hand is paper so when do s do it other way round if that makes sense but well done!!
