I masturbated and lied about it, hiding the truth from others. I watched pornography, believing it would bring me happiness, but it only made me feel worse. I spent my weekends clubbing and drinking alcohol, thinking that these things would make me happy. I slept with all kinds of girls, trying to find love and joy, but instead, I felt emptier and more lost. Each night at the club seemed exciting, yet every morning, I woke up feeling regret and shame. I realized I was in a cycle of bad choices that left me feeling miserable. One night, everything changed. I was sitting alone, feeling sad and empty. In that moment, I remembered the stories I had heard about Jesus and how He could change lives. I felt a strong pull in my heart to reach out to Him. I made the decision to give my life to Jesus, asking for forgiveness for all my wrongdoings. When I chose to follow Jesus, I made a vow to God. I promised that I would never go to a club again, that I would wait until marriage to have sex, and that I would stop watching pornography. I knew these promises would not be easy to keep, and I also understood that I would lose many friends who didn’t understand my choice. As I began this new journey, it was hard to lose my friends. For a while, it was just Jesus and me. At first, it felt lonely, but I found strength in my relationship with Him. I started reading the Bible and praying every day. As I did this, I discovered a love and peace I had never felt before. Today, I am a testimony to the power of Jesus. I am not perfect, and I still face struggles, but I have hope and joy in my life now. I have learned what true happiness is. I share my story because I want others to know that no matter how lost you feel, you can always turn to Jesus.
