Nope. The original Flash grew up with BOTH parents. Thawne came back killed Barry’s mother and caused the accelerator accident FIVE YEARS EARLIER.

OG Flash and season 9 Flash are 2 completely different versions of the Flash. We know that because when Barry & Nora go back in time to season 1 to get Thawne’s help he calls Barry’s daughter Dawn. Which would only happen that he’d call her Dawn if his parents were still alive. So the reason the OG Flash in season 1 told him not to step in because he knows the side effects of time travel. So somewhere along the line between season 1 and season 9 the timeline changed to be different.

I believe this is incorrect. The OG barry and Season 9 Barry and completely different people. We see in season 5 where Barry and Nora goes back in time for Thawne's help, he mistakes Nora for his original daughter (Dawn). In season 3, flashpoint, the reason why wally is the flash is mainly because of bad writing but we can sort of alter this into being ripples of time travel changing the timeline. Therefore flashpoint is NOT the original timeline. In the original timeline, the particle accelerator explodes years after the one in the show, Barry has both parents. Eventually this barry accidentally travels into the future and meets Thawne for the first time, saving the crowd, etc. Thawne grows to hate him, they fight for an unknown amount of time, then Thawne goes back in time and kill Barry's mom causing everything. The reason why I think you can chalk up Wally being the flash in flashpoint to ripples in time, is because of how Jay explained the same idea to Barry. Even though he saved his mom he can't restore the OG timeline, ripples from that night affected things that wasn't directly related to the night itself.

Unfortunately this isn’t true… because Nora being named dawn was a characteristic of og flash. And the flash meeting thawne “centuries” from now still needs to happen. That random message he sends to the legends would need to exist. Ur theory is probably what they tried to make in season 9 but “Og” Barry is different than what we see.

This could have made sense if thawn never talked about dawn twins in the time vault only thawn knows the actual original timeline which. OG Barry had those twins Barry was never suppose disappear with devos satellite sense our Barry had gotten his powers a decade earlier. The timeline however found a way to correct its self with all the meta that got there powers

The OG Barry Allen was erased by thawn, taking out his mother worked and erased Og flash creating the problem of no speed force=no Negative speed force, so he remakes flash with the particle accelerator, so same Barry different origin, starting us on timeline 6 at episode 1 because all Nora events are before the show starts. That’s how I understand it.

You are absolutely wrong on this one. Original Timeline Flash & Earth-1 now Earth-Prime Barry have two entirely different histories & careers compared to each other. OT Barry's Mom was alive passed 2024. Barry became The Flash in 2020 due to Original Harrison & Tess Morgan. Barry had two children, Dawn & Don. Barry would vanish in 2024 during the original Crisis. These events would be overwritten by Eobard Thawne killing Barry's Mother. Giving us the Barry we follow throughout the show. None of the changes to timeline are natural, the universe found a way to course correct sorta-of. Thawne was never supposed to kill Nora in the year 2000.

This does make sense except for OG barry dying in 2024 crisis in the newspaper. Why does this timeline have a 2019/20 crisis instead of 2024 and earth-90 barry dies instead of grant?
