the last time rage hulk was in a film was AOU in 2015, over 11 years ago. I’m happy to see him back from a decade of trying different things with him and none of it sticking.

I think everyone agrees smart hulk was a bad decision and literally the whole world hated this they made the hulk look lame and weak compared to his better version in the avengers 1st movie

I mean he’s in the comics lol, many versions of the hulk exist In The comics. From the basic hulk to a herald of galactus cosmic hulk, Mr fixit hulk it’s crazy how many phases hulk actually goes through in the comics lol

Im not opposed to smart hulk, but they did things in a weird order and made it all feel awkward. We didnt get planet hulk or war world hulk, which would have sold out theaters. Then smart hulk just happens and feels rushed and mismatched.

I like Hulk, and Bruce. Gamma powered Bruce is just Bruce. Hulk only comes off mindless when something is fighting him.

I'm not the biggest fan of MCU Hulk. Fat Thor was funny at times. I don't understand the hate for the MCU because there are so many different iterations and universes, etc. etc. within comic books in general. I've always accepted the movies as just another one. lol

if there was ever a character i would want to be dumb and just break shit, it would hulk. Smart hulk didnt even serve the story, or further the plot. it just gave an excuse for him to not participate in fights.

Same thing happened with the first round of shows... everybody said "they are doing Yung same thing it's so boring" wandavision, moon knight, loki, even falcon and winter soldier where way different. they were different genres of shows that just happened to have superheroes and not just super hero shows.... then everyone went "these shows are dumb give us back the same formula!!"

People loved the mandarin he was halarious. And people in America that don’t play soccer say ole, ole, ole, ole for a goal in any game. Only comic book stans didn’t like it. Good thing that’s not the main audience. Or we would know exactly what’s gonna happen every movie cuz of w.e comic they’re going for.

here's the problem with Fat Thor: it was excused as Thor being depressed, but it was used as a punchline. He wasn't "sad" - his entire world & family was destroyed & half of earth. IF YOU ARE REPRESENTING MENTAL ILLNESS OR GRIEF DONT MAKE IT A PUNCHLINE. But we know that was only an excuse - what they wanted to do was bring a strong male character low. that was transparent, the excuse was terrible. A thousand other options were available, & they just made a bad choice.

I wish they just made him Bruce in the intro, drop the Hulk talk, and Dab selfie. Then, when the fiasco of time figuring out time travel with Scott, have it go haywire, and Bruce struggles to figure it out in real time as Scott is being warped by their machine, and he Hulks out while calculating what could possibly have gone wrong, and then just pull the cord in frustration. Boom, Smart Hulk is shown merged and controlled.
