Not saying the movie isn’t beautifully done, but the way the reception is SO manufactured and inflated is honestly disgusting and dystopian. It undermines the effort put into the film because it would have been promoted this way numbers wise regardless of who made it.

This is where it loses me. The movie was fine. Idk why it has to be either a masterpiece or the worst thing ever, but there are so many more deserving projects this year that an odyssey sweep feels incredibly lame
