This was me too, I begged my mom that day to show up and she replied with “when it’s not a university graduation, she can’t leave her shop” I went to school alone that day and prior to that we wrote an exam and the best scoring students gets to win an award, I read extensively cause I imagined them calling my out as the best awarding student while my mum was present so I’d make her proud. When It was time for the graduating students to come out everybody had a parent/guardian following them to the stand, I had none so I didn’t go up. Getting to the point where the best awarding student was called it was me I cried my eyes out cause I had no representative. It was my teacher that stood up as a guardian for me that day. Wherever you’re Mr Maxwell may God continue to favor you, till date I can never forget that day, I was a kid and it meant so much to me.

your emotions are valid! i cried last year when my sin was graduating too. i couldn't buy the anco they choose my own time. but see me, bought suit, shoe and sewing over 50k last year for my son. did snacks and zobo. cake for my son too. i cried when i got home oo but year, my tears are valid!
