I live on the outskirts of yasmine hammamet and we had no running water for 3 days and when it did come back on it was only for maybe 15mins the electricity has been off and on. I am very lucky in which I can afford to buy extra bottled water and have battery packs to keep phones and tourches charged in the blackouts at night, but alot of these locals cant afford to buy in bulk (water) Even alot of hotels are having to do with no air con for tourists it's a complete job and we stand behind these people protesting but take it to the government they are the ones that are taking money from outside the country ad not putting it the things the country needs.

I feel like some of y'all are completely missing the point. Nobody's saying blocking roads or throwing trash is okay. But be so fr for a second and put yourself in their shoes. 4 DAYS with no water. No electricity. Those aren't luxuries, they're basic human needs. Not everyone has the same privileges. For some people, making noise is the only way they'll ever get noticed. If they stay quiet, nobody cares. So what exactly were they supposed to do? Sit there in silence while they're literally being ignored? And to everyone saying, "We're all suffering" or "What's the difference?"... no, we're clearly not living the same reality. If you're typing that comment, you have internet. You have a phone. You have a way to communicate. They don't. So genuinely... how did you expect them to react?

j'étais sur hammamet encore il y a deux jours et il n'y a pas eu de coupure d'eau, juste trois coupures de courant de 30 minutes !!! faut arrêter le fake news et pour me balader en ville et faire les courses, pas de manifestation non plus !
