I'm as outraged by the Mitch situation and the deeper problems it represents as anyone, but the FMLA says he has 12 weeks of leave, and HIPAA says it's really none of our business. I LIKE THOSE RULES. I'm not going to demand something different because of *all the things*, even though *all the things* are exasperating. Instead of yelling at Andy Beshear, or Old People®️, or clouds, maybe we should be yelling louder about term limits, so this can't happen again.

KY resident here. We are definitely better off with McConnell unavailable … but I think the sentiment is that people do want to see Beshear fight - not just talk. Even if he tried to see him and couldn’t…even if he tried to do a special election but couldn’t…even if he can’t do anything at all - people want to see him try and make them stop him vs accepting it as is.
