@adikcomel_chefdave: When he was tiny, I carried him everywhere. While he slept, while I fed him, while we played, he was always in my arms. People kept telling me, “Don’t carry him too much. He’ll get used to your body heat. He’ll never sleep on his own.” I heard those comments over and over again. Today, he’s 10 months old, and he barely fits in my arms anymore. He wants to crawl, explore, and be independent. He only comes back to me when he’s sleepy or hungry. Looking back, I’m so glad I carried him every chance I had. So to every new parent, hold your baby close and carry them as much as you can. They won’t stay this little forever, and one day you’ll wish you could hold that tiny version of them just one more time. Never let anyone steal your moments with your baby, you will never regret if giving them so much love ❤️

Totally agree.. Holding babies is very important for their development, helps with your bonding. And once they start exploring, they won't want you to carry them. So just carry your child as much as you want and don't listen to anyone.

agreed. when they grow, u are unable to hold. but here is the thing, mothers carrying babies weighing more than 5kg can injure their back bone if they carry too long. but as for me my back bone injury is so worth it. my son is 7 now and I miss hugging and carrying him. just make sure don't hurt your backbones.
