there's also a theory that Korra went nuts because Vaatu took over her body and is fighting with Raava so that's why the avatars are twins, vaatu and Raava split

So far i have a feeling my favorite is going to be Nisha and be a strong defender of her, not for any reason shown in the trailer but because of my sister. My sister introduced me to avatar when i was 7, her name was Nisha, in 2019 i lost her. So seeing a character in the sister series of what she introduced me to with her name, i just have to love already.

I also heard a lot of people say this theory that vaatu had gone into korra after that last battle and it slowly made her go crazy from having Raava and Vaatu fight inside of her and that’s how everything got so messed up

My prediction is that Vaatu does show up and makes a deal with Nisha, who feels abandoned, jealous, anger. All these negative emotions that Vaatu will exploit with Pavi getting admiration, love and respect as the avatar. This ends with Nisha making a deal and becoming the Avatar but Vaatu will be in her and be that voice in her that cause her to be evil. Her Avatar state will be dark and might even be just Vaatu taking possession and fighting in her place. I could even see her having conversations with Unalaq, who would be similar to the Avatar spirits of the past but it will just be him since he’s the 1st.

(i got this from @Amethress ) The theory they said was “Vaatu got reborn inside Raava after their battle, making Korra go insane as they fought for control within her, which led to the worlds destruction and is why one of the twins will become the new Dark Avatar” and now that’s ALL i can see, like fs that 1 second clip of older Korra in the Avatar state and smiling in chaos was 100% smth to do w Vaatu or smth. LIKE IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE
