Further explaining myself because I know people will miss the point as always: Comparing Ambessa/Caitlyn to Silco/Jinx completely flattens what actually happened. Why? Jinx was a traumatized orphan when Silco found her. He became her father figure, isolated her from the truth, reinforced her dependence on him by feeding her lies about her loved ones and shaped her entire worldview while she was still developing. Caitlyn, on the other hand, is an adult with political agency who grew up in a loving, wealthy family, with education, security, and a strong support system. Even after her mother's death, she still has the emotional and material resources to make the right decisions. Ambessa manipulates her grief and inexperience for political ends, but that's manipulation of an adult, not systematic conditioning and psychological grooming. Calling these dynamics the same erases the severity of what happened to Jinx.
