I HID THIS FOR 10 YEARS ‼️👃and now @Op. Dr. Selim Turan is fixing it!! When I was 25 and new to the cosmetic world I quickly decided on a srgn the moment I had enough money to get my nose done. I was unhappy almost immediately with compromised airways and a nose that was very flat. Over the years it become more crooked and upturned making me even more insecure and unhappy. If you look at my page, you'll see I exclusively took pictures and filmed from my right side as it was at least not as horrible as my left. I hated going to events where there would be photographer or getting caught off guard in a friends video or pic. I wish I would have taken my time, looked at other drs (specifically ENTs), and patiently decided on the right doctor to do my procedure. A lot of surgeons have a strong suit and in Turkey they stick to that. Unfortunately in the US it is so common for docs to do 10-15 different srgries even if they're not very skilled at that specific procedure. You really have to use discernment to figure out what they're best at. I did look in the US for my revision but I was getting quoted $30,000 for docs that has some good cases but a lot of bad ones too. The risk greatly outweighed the reward. After endless consults and deliberation I decided to take the plunge and go to Istanbul. I had heard time and time again that they were the absolutely best at noses and looking at countless Instagram pages and reviews I felt that as well. I needed a medically necessary reconstruction and I knew I had to go to a very skilled doctor. I'm so glad I listened to my gut because not only is Istanbul beautiful and welcoming, but I'm already having a way better experience and way better care compared to the US (aside from my reduction srgn of course!). Of course, I always encourage you to do your own research and pick who is right for YOU, like I did! Just sharing my journey for anyone who might be in a similar situation and can't afford US healthcare💕
