I think this should be a permanent memorial as to be a true remembrance of all who served and never forgotten. We have many, many generations of veterans in the family. To be but only for a short time so many won't be able to experience it.

Unfortunately, my father is not on there. It appears they don't include those that served during the Cold War. He was a Navy Pilot, Commander, 25 years in Service. During the Cold War, he was held at gunpoint by the Russians, and he was likely one of just a handful of people to ever get an Oscar Nuclear sub to surface off the coast of Greenland. Please consider the service of the Cold War vets for this honor too. (my hubby's father IS on this memorial - Air Force Pilot who flew F81 Sabers in MiG Alley)

My dad served in Thailand during the police action in Vietnam. He got cancer due to being around agent orange. He was in the Air Force loading bombs. I hope my dad’s name is on that. Is name is Robert Grant Eastling.

My Dad who enlisted during Vietnam was not on the list. My Grandfather who went over in WWII as a tank destroyer navigator was also not listed. I had to go and ask for them to be in this. I’m hoping.
