My best friend who is my more like my sister of 20+ years. I love her so much!! We have been through so much together! We have seen each other at or worst and at our best. We have called each other at 3am in tears crying and we answered and talked til the sun was coming up. We have showed up at 1 am to hold each other while one of us was crying over something that has happened. We have fought, stopped talking but we have always found our way back to each other. We needed a little space but always apologize and went back like nothing has ever happened.

True. But if you try to communicate to the “friend” and they immediately get defensive and start attacking your character then they were not a true friend in the first place. I cut off all communication with her and walked away.

What was sad is after the hard conversation I realized it wasn’t a true friendship. So I had to walk away. I was committed to a real friendship. They were there because of the blessings and what they could take.

At some point, you just get tired of having the same conversation over and over and then it’s time to wish them well and walk away. If it’s worth it, then you’re right, they would of fought for it. I knew I made the right choice by leaving that friendship because it wasn’t a real one. She did the same thing to another friend so good riddance.

Spoken like the friend whose careless behavior caused the other person to finally give up and walk away. Keeping my peace here. I’d bet that the person who thinks it “came out of nowhere” and the friendship “ended over one misunderstanding” was the shitty friend in the first place. ISWIS. 🤷🏼♀️
