When I book travel, I’m looking at way more than the prettiest room or the lowest nightly rate. I’m comparing the location, reading recent reviews, checking which room categories are actually worth it, looking at amenities, transportation options, cancellation policies, and whether the price truly matches the overall value. Because the “best” hotel is not the same for every trip. Sometimes the right fit is the hotel steps from the sights. Sometimes it’s the one with easier airport transfers, better breakfast, more space, or a cancellation policy that gives a little peace of mind. Sometimes the cheapest option ends up costing more in time, stress, or surprise fees. That’s the part I actually love: sorting through the lookalikes and figuring out which hotel genuinely fits the traveler, the destination, and the kind of trip they want to have.
