Small nose, big lips 😂 Küçük burun, büyük dudaklar 😂 The golden snub-nosed monkey is a rare primate species that lives in the mountainous forests of China. It is easily recognized by its long golden fur, bright blue face, and small upturned nose. These monkeys mainly inhabit high-altitude forests in regions such as the Qinling and Sichuan mountains. They are highly social animals and often live in large groups that can sometimes include hundreds of individuals. Their diet mainly consists of lichens, leaves, buds, and fruits. Thanks to their thick fur, they are one of the few primates capable of living in snowy and extremely cold mountain environments. Unfortunately, their population is threatened due to habitat loss, and they are protected as an endangered species. Altın burunlu maymun, Çin’in dağlık ormanlarında yaşayan nadir ve dikkat çekici bir primat türüdür. Altın sarısı uzun tüyleri, maviye çalan yüzü ve yukarı dönük küçük burnuyla kolayca tanınır. Çoğunlukla Çin’in Qinling ve Sichuan dağlarında, yüksek rakımlı ve soğuk ormanlarda yaşarlar. Çok sosyal hayvanlardır ve bazen yüzlerce bireyden oluşan büyük gruplar halinde yaşarlar. Beslenmeleri çoğunlukla likenler, yapraklar, tomurcuklar ve meyvelerden oluşur. Kalın kürkleri sayesinde kar yağışı ve dondurucu soğukların görüldüğü dağ ortamlarında yaşayabilen az sayıdaki primat türünden biridir. Ne yazık ki yaşam alanlarının azalması nedeniyle nesilleri tehdit altındadır ve koruma altına alınmışlardır.
