We had a debate where the topic was “Filipinos should speak up about the political and social issues” something similar of that at least.. At the negative side where they disagree, their defense was that “bobo tayo lahat, we haven’t made a change cus we are dumb.” This kind of reasoning shouldn’t be an excuse on why we aren’t voicing out, let’s encourage ourselves to spread awareness and use our privilege to voice out. Not only this issue but all the issues that have been happening in the Philippines. SAY NO TO PAX SILICA!!

i personally have a lot of friends with relatives in the government. in fact, two of my closest friends are related to the president, and one to a congressman. i have ALWAYS voiced out my political opinions around them. it has always led to arguments and debates, but i would rather fight for my country than stand to the side. everyone who knows me irl knows my stance and just how passionate i get about politics, and if i become an outcast, then so be it. i'll live in peace knowing i spoke up, i stood firm on my beliefs, and i did all i could (as a minor) for the philippines. SAY NO TO PAX SILICA!

LITERALLY i wrote an admittedly long comment about alternative subculture and politics, and guess what... someone replied "long ahh comment bro" THE OP ASKED FOR ADVICE.. something being long doesn't negate it from being /something/ at least. people need to read and get educated now more than ever

I have always had political opinions, even when I was younger, out of the 40 students in my entirely Filipino class (abroad), I and another girl were the only ones to supported Leni Robredo, we were called "nerds" for it. I still constantly talk about politics openly, even with my parents, even if it turns into debates. and constantly, I am surrounded by people who "don't like/care about politics" because they think it simply doesn't affect them. ?? everything you are and how you are sustained in this world is political, how can they be so proud of our "culture" when they won't even stand for it

NO to pax silica, elem student speaking btw. Nakakagigil at nakakainis, bakit ba ganito magyayari sa Pilipinas? papayag ba tayo dito mga Pilipino? Nawawalan nako ng pagasa dyan, nakakagigil na talaga, walang ginagawa yung gobyerno, walang pakialam sa kalikasan, hayst... NAPAKAHIRAP mahalin ang Pilipinas na nangayayari ngayon. Napakamakasarili yung gobyerno natin. Nakakainis talaga. Kawawa talaga yung kaligtasan, nawawalan naman ng mga puno, idadagdag pa yung pax silica?
