Flying business with emirates tomorrow night and because their lounge isn’t open yet they use the other crap Escape lounge. Ive actually paid for this on top of 15 grand for 4 business seats and they have now flipped the plane from an a380 to a 777. Absolutely fuming. Qatar and Etihad use this but Emirates won’t give it to you as a business traveller.

Absolute waste of money. They market it as ‘executive’ but they allow in all the easyJet and jet2 families now as well meaning whenever you go the place is packed full of screaming kids and loud families. They are anything but relaxing and peaceful now. Food and drink options are basic. Save your £60, and reserve front row seats on the plane.

airport lounges are a waste of time these days. Every tom dick and harry has access so when they are not full, they are overcrowded and the food/drinks selection is terrible

It’s still by escape and that’s always been a below average lounge. Should have left it as it was with the 1903 that was amazing

My last visit to Manchester airport in June we just had breakfast the Italian restaurant . Costs £40-45 . Had to queue and then felt obligated to tip for fast food essentially . Also sat to close to others ( quite crammed) had to wait ages to pay too . So I’ve booked the exec lounge regardless of others using it , I will drink att least 4 jds and eat enough to to cover my £52 worth

We went it and thought it was great, plenty to drink, food tasted great, lots of space , music wasn’t that loud….compared to how many people are in terminal 2, it was a great place to escape

I travel every week and used to have a lounge pass, I've not renewed, lounges far too busy, especially now holiday companies give access as part of a package and the food choice poor
