@labrador_mum: Letting your ex still see your Labrador is a deeply personal choice and one that has to take in lots of factors such as .. Are you still amicably polite ? Does your ex pose any threat to you or your dog ? Was there any form of abuse ? Do you think theirs or your decision is made for the genuine benefit of your Labrador and for yourselves. My decision was based on the fact my dog loves my ex and my ex adores my Labrador and would and does only want to love and support her. In return I get help with vet bills and if anything happened to me I know he would be one of the people I could trust to look after her . He also walks her twice a week and because I'm chronically sick this helps more than the above reasons . Plus she gets on longer walks and hill climbs which she can't get with me . So weigh your reasons up and only decide to give your ex rights to see your Labrador if it benefits both you and your dog #labrador #labradorparents #labradorowners #labradorlife

If me and my partner ever split, I would absolutely let him see our lab and spend time. I would insist on it as He loves his daddy so much. Never take that away from him ❤️

my ex got the 2 dogs i now have. I give her updates and pics of dogs. split 7 years ago. wouldn't have the 2 fantastic dogs/ best friends if she hadn't got them
