@keriannemellott: 🤯 ChatGPT Ads are now a thing! If you’re a business or brand and need people to see what you’ve got to sell, this is freaking exciting. This is like GoogleAds on steroids. Instead of an old school Google search with Sponsored results at the top of the page that you then have to skim and read over and decide to click on one, read, realize it’s not what you’re quite looking for, go back, click on another, scroll, skim, scroll, read some more, etc…Chat gives a user real-time solutions for things they’re literally already chatting about in an interactive thread. Seamless. Quick. Easy. Helpful. 🤯 My former corporate life as a marketing exec in Los Angeles (back when paid social was just kicking off big time with brands) was the Wild, Wild West and this seems no different. When my teams at Twitter or Facebook/IG would call me offering to beta test a new Ad product, I’d JUMP and say yes. When you’re the first one advertising to a certain group of targeted people, it gives you a huge advantage. I moved from consulting and coaching small business owners into being recruited by the corporate world in 2012, and I can tell you EMPHATICALLY that the first ones in, the early adopters, the stay up all night and lose sleep trying to figure it out type people FIRST before their competitors…will win big. This almost makes me want to come out of social media marketing retirement! Lol I’ll definitely be running some ad campaigns for my new art business (mellott studio.com) and can’t wait to get it dialed in. What are your thoughts here? If you’re a marketer, will you be testing these out?
