This is what is looks like in madrid in an area 30 minutes away from where the fire is currently. It is much worse in person. My town hasn’t been locked down or evacuated, but they’re starting to evacuate two towns over. The three fires have joined into one, and is nowhere near controlled. There is a lack of equipment that is preventing firefighters to act, thanks to the cuts on the funds the government made during the winter.
