Why are people telling this young lady she should go to school closer to home and pay in-state tuition. I assume there is a reason she’s going to school across the country and it’s none of our business where she goes. She’s not giving us a sob story…. She’s not telling us she can’t afford it… she’s literally just saying she wants to surprise her dad with the money when they go on their cross country trip. The plan is already in place for them to go, so it is safe to assume she’s been accepted and her first semester’s been paid for. Based on her video, I’ll assume her dad paid for it. She wants to pay her own way, but her 2 jobs aren’t enough to pay for it so she’s asking for folks to engage with her video so she can make up the difference. She seems to be completely honest in just saying, engage with the video so I can give my dad the money… you can choose whether to engage with the video or not… I admire her for doing what she can to help her dad pay for her college education. Stop telling her where to go to school. She’s already picked it… good lord.

im so sorry i mean this will all the love in my heart but im confused why you need to go to a $50k a year school across the country when you could just go to an in state college or even just a community college. especially since you’re just majoring in nursing which u can literally learn anywhere. not to mention your dream college has like an 80%+ acceptance rate? just go to cc for a year or two and then transfer if u really want to. you’re just going to get yourself and your family into unnecessary debt
