I feel your pain. I had 2 c-sections and trying to cough is the worst. I would always put a pillow on my stomach and hold that but it still didnt do any good.

I choked drinking water like 12 hours after my c-section and for a second I was really debating if I should just drown there and then rather than cough😭

I know it doesnt compare to a csection. I had a 2nd degree tear with 6 stitches and I had one of those sneeze cough episodes and im positive I died for a few seconds.

If you need to cough, hold a pillow firmly against your C-section incision while coughing. This is called splinting and can make it much more comfortable..I hope this helps
