@foxnews: The U.S. has already surpassed last year's record measles total — and it's only July. The CDC has now confirmed at least 2,318 measles cases in 2026, topping all of 2025, which was already the highest annual total in more than 30 years. The increase has been driven by several large outbreaks, including in South Carolina, Utah, and Arizona. Later this year, international health officials will consider whether the U.S. could lose its measles-free status, which it earned in 2000 after eliminating sustained local transmission.

Why is everyone so upset with measles? Everyone had measles growing up they made fun of it in TV shows talked about how kids would stay home and have fun. Did measles all of a sudden become extremely dangerous.?
