@swimsuccess: ‼️ Here's exactly how it works. The underwater pullout has three steps. And the secret is not rushing between them. 1️⃣ Push off with a sharp streamline. Feel the speed first. Don't rush into the dolphin kick immediately. Wait until you start to slow down. Then add the kick to continue your speed. 2️⃣ The dolphin kick. One big dolphin kick to carry your momentum. Then wait again. Feel yourself starting to slow down before you move to the next step. 3️⃣ The big pull. Similar to butterfly. One powerful pull to generate more speed. And when you finish the pulling motion, shrug your shoulders. This keeps you more streamlined even with your arms by your side, and it makes it much easier to bring your arms back into streamline position for the next step. Then as you start to slow down again, it's time to bring your arms back. 👉 Here's the secret tip most swimmers miss. Don't bring both arms back at the same time. Bring them back one by one, close to your body, tucking your elbows underneath so you create zero resistance. If you're careless with this part you'll lose a lot of the speed you just built. The timing of the breaststroke kick is very important. As your arms pass your head on the way back to streamline position, that's exactly when you add the breaststroke kick. Not before, not after. That timing is what creates the extra propulsion to bring you up to the surface smoothly and with speed. 💡 The whole pullout is about feeling the water and the speed. Push off, feel the slowdown, react to it, move to the next step. Never rush. Every transition between steps has to be earned. Do it correctly and a full 25 meters on one pullout is completely possible. 🎯 Want me to personally review your technique? Upload your swim video inside the app and I'll tell you exactly what to fix.

I am a new swimmer. This feels very energy and cost effective, why not start the dolphin kick about half a second or even a full second before you did in this video.

you did it in 20 seconds? logically if you do it 4 times in a row you could do a 100 m in 1m 20?

So when I hear free style and everyone is doing butterfly as fast as they can that’s just bc they don’t care about any glide, only fast😂

I normally pop up about 12-15 meters out. Any more than that and youre going too slow for it to be worth it in a race
