My personal tragedy is that I actually really like almost everything about Milk Orchid, but there's just something in almost all the Commodity fragrances that smells insanely off once it starts to fade.

2 years ago (and I don’t know why) I suddenly started smelling things differently. Some ambers and ambroxans smell REVOLTING to me now. Not even in a “it’s not my preference” kind of way, but in a “this is toxic for my body and inhaling it will kill me” kind of way. It completely changed how much value I put on random perfume reviews/opinions/recommendations. Because it became so clear to me that it’s not just a matter of taste. It’s that we aren’t even necessarily judging the same scent, even if we’re talking about the same perfume. Unfortunately, I can’t stomach most of my collection anymore, but hey, at least I can finally understand the most scalding reviews that I was certain only a true hater could leave in bad faith. It’s like I went to the dark side 💀

I loved mink orchid so much I ordered a second in the original packaging which I’m now scared to open because the packaging has changed so I’ll be keeping it sealed as a collectors piece and ordering another when my original runs out… which will be soon 🙃

milk orchid is damn amazing, i do have a lot of perfume but my favorite is definitely milk orchid. everytime i wear milk orchid, everyone around me keep asking “what are you wearing” and i proudly say milk orchid. milk orchid is truly my perfume everrr

It smells amazing but it isnt very milky to me. I only smelled the expressive one though. Its very heavy to me. Still smells amazing just not milky

this! you can't please everyone. there's not one thing in this world that we ALL like its impossible. it's such a beautiful perfume and it's on my buy wishlist, in Australia it's just over $200 so I do need to save but every time I go into Sephora I smell it and it's so good ☺️
